Hello and welcome to Sam Larison's HTML Tutorial. This site was designed for my 409 Web SIte Design and Implementation class at RIT. If you are interested in learning HTML then you are in the right place.

HTML is an acronym for Hypertext Markup Language, which is the most basic language websites can be created with. HTML is not a programming language, but rather a markup language for formatting text and positioning elements. This tutorial will start by providing some background information before moving into the more complicated topics.
